Welcome to Women In Progress, Inc., also known as WIP.  We appreciate you stopping by our site!  WIP is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides supportive services to formerly incarcerated women in Chicago.

We strongly believe that empowering these special women to move forward in their lives helps benefit their entire families and cultivate positive communities.

Our MISSION? To uplift, support, and empower formerly incarcerated women by providing supportive services within low income communities in the Chicago area.

For the last two years WIP has been supported with a grant from the Flossmoor Community Church.  This grant has been invaluable to the women we serve and help us further carry out our mission to our Participants.

Through the generous support of Bin Donated we have received over 500 lbs of in-kind donations this year! Because we give out mass amounts of toiletries, this has been invaluable to us.  Our most recent donation included a large quantity of H20 products that are simply awesome.

Thanks to the generous women of this group, they have collected purses and toiletries for our wonderful Participants.  This continues to be one of our biggest needs and we are thankful for their support of our program.
