WIP was founded in 2007 by Executive Director Tanya DePeiza, MSW, LSW, after seeing a need for more services for women with criminal backgrounds, knowing that with support transformation could occur.

WIP provides FREE supportive services and resources to formerly incarcerated women in Chicago.  As part of the committment to the women we serve, we value their input and suggestions offered to ensure they receive the assistance they desire.

WIP welcomes the opportunity to partner and collaborate with other organizations and businesses to provide maximum support to our Participants.
